Eliburn Resivoir
Situated within livingston some 10 miles west of Edinburgh . The venue holds double figure carp as well as a good stock of perch, rudd, golden rudd, roach, tench, crucian carp and some orfe and pike.
There is a day ticket available on the bank side offered by members of the West Lothian Angling Club, who run the water as part of a stewardship scheme with West Lothian Council.
Travelling from Edinburgh on the M8 you come off at junction 3 Livingston, take the slip road to the left and join the dual carriage way. Take the second slip road on the left towards Deans. Follow this road until you reach a roundabout with a large stone structure in the middle. Take the second junction off the roundabout (nearly straight over) and follow down past the houses on the right. As you get to the end of the houses there is a swing gate on the left hand side, follow the track down to the car park near the waters edge.
There are man made stances to fish from and many different styles of fishing do well on this venue. There is however a keepnet ban, so be warned.
