Coaching

The club holds coaching sessions at club meetings and also during the fun outings. These are designed to be fun and enjoyable whilst still being informative and useful.
We as a club were able to coach the 2000 Scottish Junior champion to success, through his skill and patience.
The SFCA are in the process of developing a new coaching scheme which will see the first officially recognised coaches within Scottish Coarse Angling. They will be holding coaching classes over a 6 week period. These will provide a good starting point for those junior anglers wishing to get involved. The courses will be FREE as well.

The club has held coaching open days on the union canal at Linlithgow in the past.

With a little practice and coaching you could end up fishing with the national team.
We will assist you to get the skills and knowledge required and give you all the encouragement you need. All you need is an aptitude for fishing.
